What would you do if you get caught in a hurricane?

-Find a basement shelter with my 9yr old son and my husband and huddle and pray that if any ONE was taken, (rather than all 3 together), it would be me first, then my husband but NOT my son. We'd both ask, please spare our son. But that's easy for me cos i'm in the UK and hurricanes don't happen over here but I think very deeply about families in those circumstances where they DO happen. Same for tsumani or earthquake victims or of any famine, drought or war raged victims. Bottom line is, if you have children, you always pray for them to be spared.

I guess you might have been looking for a practical "survival" guide for hurricanes answer. Parents who live in those kinds of "prone" areas will aready have formed a plan. Maybe unspoken ...but the plan will always include you putting your child/children's survival above anyone else's, including your own or your partner's.

Gloomy answer....off to find a more uplifting question (no disrepect to this question)!Find a basement shelter with my 9yr old son and my husband and huddle and pray that if any ONE was taken, (rather than all 3 together), it would be me first, then my husband but NOT my son. Gloomy answer....off to find a more uplifting question (no disrepect to this question)!well first i would try to find shelter so i could survive. but if thats not an option or not possible, i would enjoy the scenery of a natural disaster til that natural disaster murks me.
Pray pray pray and hope that it is God's will that he does with me what he wants. He is in control.
Hold on to my bottle of red wine and try to quickly drain the rest....

If I am going to go out hurricane style...... a bit of red wine should lessen the "blow" I imagine...
Fly kites
Go Trick or treating
sleep
