Is vevo good for anything?

-Everyone knows Vevo blows. They apparently struck a deal with google and youtube to make music videos allowed on youtube.



This is controversial because it gets money for something that normal users would do for free. My question is:



Does the company do any sort of good or provide any kind of service that was not previously convenient or existent? Or is it just a greedy *** guzzling piece of **** company that wants to make money off of other people's hard work, and censor all the music and make everything shitty on top of that?
