Free to love what we love or just chained down forever?

-I've gotten alot of disrespectful comments from black people saying that i'm wrong for liking visual kei and japanese stuff because i'm a sista or whatever, I want to know if there are any other black people that don't stick to what a black person is 'supposed' to be like, I love metal and not rap, I speak good korean and don't really speak much english anymore, i'm proud to be black but i like other stuff i'm not putting down my race like other people say, I'm just different i guess.Saying that black people aren't supposed to enjoy Asian culture is racist, unfair, and completely untrue. You aren't 'supposed' to be like anything because you are not a stereotype. Own your interests and own yourself, because VK is awesome and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

I'd also like to add that I have several black friends who like anime and Japanese culture, and they're awesome. So really. Own it. You're awesome.Free to love what you love! don't listen to the others, you're unique, and that's a good thing!
Just be yourself. It doesn't matter if other people think you shouldn't love what you love.
