Birthday party ideas for a 13 year old girl?

-So my birthday is in September, and obviously I'm gonna be 13. I really don't want anything little kiddish and girly, but just maybe have some people over or something? I don't know. Not a sleep-over because I'm planning to have boys there too and my mom wouldn't let me do that. So any ideas and personal expierences? Please no rude comments.
